A Bill of Sale form is a legal document that describes a vehicle purchase’s details, such as the details of the persons participating in the deal and the vehicle’s description. It also includes information about the odometer reading, which is always included in such documents. Always record the actual odometer reading value before selling your vehicle so that the buyer has the information about how far the vehicle has traveled. It is a usual requirement for selling or transferring a vehicle. When the purchaser needs to complete the registration, they will need a bill of sale template with these details, unless the seller has entered the price on the title. The form will serve as proof of the transaction between the purchaser and the seller and will free the seller from being liable for the vehicle.
